Flying Horse Bar & Brewery

To be honest I got slightly disappointed as upon arriving I’ve been told the brewery is no longer operating there, and “brewery” is just the name of one of their function rooms now. There were just two Flying Horse beers on tap (and a number of cheap/commercial beers which are not of interest) and most of the others, even in bottles, are just history. Nonetheless, the place is cool and staff is nice.

I ordered a medium rare eye fillet. It was absolutely to die for with mushroom sauce. Accompanied with a fresh salad, salt and pepper calamari and a refreshing drink. Great staff and great service. Having dessert i ordered the waffle supreme. It had a perfect berry sauce and compote. Only improvement could be using mint flavoured kitkats and maybe a combination of vanilla and chocolate ice cream. 10/10 would reccomend.
